Drink driving is the result of 1 in 5 car crashes losing their life. Of the drink drivers that are killed 97% are men and 64% are under the age of 40. Any amount of alcohol will affect your driving. Beginner drivers are much higher risk of having a car crash when consumed alcohol. So the learner and P plate drivers have an alcohol limit of zero.
If you are ever in the car with someone driving and you feel uncomfortable as they may be speeding or intoxicated, than tell them you want to get out of the car or offer to drive so you are in control. However make sure you have had nothing to drink before you start to drive as that is just as dangerous. Also once you get out of the car call your parents or taxi to take you were you were going. This is much safer.

Community: By your action of deciding to drink drive it can have a major effect on the lives of your family, friends and the whole community. For example you could be drink driving a run over an innocent person and injure them or even kill them. The whole community would be devastated especially the family and friends of the victim. From this you could be feeling terrible and this could lead to issues you have with yourself.
Getting to a party can be just as risky as going to a party. Whenever you are going to a party plan how you are going to get there and how you are going to get home. A taxi is a safe option to get to a party and home from a party. Another safe way is your parents. However make sure they have not had any alcohol. It is also important to have a Plan B. The plan B is used if the Plan A for some reason is no longer an option. It is very important that you never get in a car if someone has being drinking. Another safe option is sleeping at the party and going home the next day.
